Sales Agreement

* No unweaned babies will be sold from Maple Leaf Aviaries.

* No bird(s) will be held without a minimum 25% deposit, which must be received within 7 days of being reserved by the buyer.  If no payment has been received within that time period, the bird will be released from the verbal agreement and placed back on the sales list.

* Deposits are non-refundable and will be accepted via PayPal, credit card through PayPal, Postal money order, or Personal Check.  No bird(s) will be released until the check has cleared.  In the event that the bird(s) are being picked up in person, ONLY CASH will be accepted.  If paying via PayPal, 3% will be required to be added to the TOTAL sales price in order to cover PayPal transaction fees.  

* Once a deposit has been received, payment must be received in full within 30 days.  No birds will be held longer than that time period unless the deposit is on birds being handfed.   No birds will be shipped without full payment being received.

* Once full payment has been received, the sale is considered final whether the bird(s) have been delivered or are waiting to be delivered/shipped.  

* Deposits are only refundable if Maple Leaf Aviary is unable to complete the sale on our end.    

* All birds will be sold with a 48 hour guarantee.  

* Shipping (including the shipping crate) is available at the buyer's expense.  I ship from Raleigh-Durham Airport, by either Continental or Delta (whichever has more convenient flight times).
